Best NFL Touchdown Props for Week 16: Swift, Gainwell Bruise Big Blue

It’s the Christmas season and all I want from the big man is a trio of plus-money touchdown winners. After digging through the NFL odds, I won’t need a Christmas miracle to profit off of my best Week 16 TD bets.

This week, my NFL picks are backing a running back who might have the best rushing matchup on the slate and is being priced 30 to 40 points too high. I’m also hitting a receiver in the early game on Christmas Day who has been one of the most-targeted players in the red zone of late, and finishing things off with a high-volume RB who is getting nearly 90% of the red-zone carries.

Here are my three best Week 16 NFL player prop TD picks.

Sportsbooks Seek To Stand Out This NFL Season With More Betting Markets, New Features

There will almost certainly be more money wagered on the National Football League this upcoming season than ever before — and sportsbook operators are rolling out new features, promotions, and betting markets to ensure customers choose them over the competition.

The start of the NFL’s regular season this week arguably marks the most crucial time of year for online sports wagering operators.

Yes, baseball is all well and good, and basketball is definitely on the rise, but the NFL is still the undisputed heavyweight champ of legal sports betting.

“The NFL season is our biggest acquisition period of the year,” FanDuel President Christian Genetski recently told CNBC.

Jürgen Klopp: Ralf Rangnick’s arrival is bad news for rest of Premier League

Jürgen Klopp has described the imminent arrival of Ralf Rangnick at Manchester United as bad news for the rest of the Premier League as the Old Trafford side “will be organised on the pitch”.

Klopp has been friends with the 63-year-old since starting his managerial career at Mainz and believes Liverpool’s fierce rivals have made an astute choice for their interim manager. He expects Rangnick to rectify the failings that prompted Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s sacking, and which Liverpool exploited in their 5-0 rout of United last month, by turning a collection of expensive individuals into a coherent team.

Rangnick has agreed to join United as interim manager with a consultancy role to follow, starting from June 20…

Arsenal’s Jen Beattie: ‘Getting an MBE threw up the most mixed emotions’

When Jen Beattie travelled to Windsor Castle to collect her MBE for services to charity and football on Wednesday, she could not have envisaged how different the circumstances would be to the last time she was there. Two-and-a-half years ago, waiting to hear whether she had the all-clear from breast cancer, the Arsenal centre-back did the Long Walk to the castle with her parents.

“I’ve not told many this, but I do think it is a good part of the story to tell,” says Beattie, sitting in the new cafeteria for the women’s team at Arsenal’s London Colney training ground. “When I was waiting on results and we didn’t know the extent of it, mum and dad came down and we actually went on a day trip to Windsor.

Pitt visits Miami hunting fourth straight road win

The Miami Hurricanes, who have struggled to stay healthy lately, are set to host the Pittsburgh Panthers on Saturday afternoon in an Atlantic Coast Conference matchup. Miami (13-6, 4-4 ACC) has played several games in which at least one starter has been either limping or out. Wooga Poplar and Nijel Pack have missed two games each. Norchad Omier has missed one and Matthew Cleveland could not finish Miami's 73-61 win at Notre Dame on Wednesday. Cleveland, who is averaging 14.8 points and 5.8 rebounds, has yet to miss a game this season. But he is questionable for Saturday due to a lower-body injury. Miami is 9-2 at home, but the Hurricanes have lost two straight at its arena (against Louisville and Florida State). Miami hasn't won a home game since beating Clemson on Jan. 3. P…

Here's Your 2014-15 Champions League Quarterfinals Draw

After all the action in the Champions League's Round of 16 wrapped up on Wednesday, we now know the matchups for the quarterfinals. The loose theme here seems to be "There Will Be Rematches." Overall, it looks like a pretty fair draw. All any neutral really wanted was to avoid two of the three favorites (Bayern, Barcelona, and Real Madrid) going head-to-head this early in the competition, and that the two weakest (Porto and Monaco) also not face each other. The most tantalizing tie has to be Atlético-Real Madrid, which will be seventh and eighth times these two teams have faced each other just this season. So far Atléti have won four and drawn two of those six Madrid Derbies and will feel confident of their chances to progress yet again at their crosstown rival's e…
