The agent of Porto striker Jackson Martinez has denied suggestions that his client is interested in a move to the Premier League.
The Colombia international netted an incredible 34 goals in 39 appearances during his debut season in the Primeira Liga, having joined Porto from Mexican side Jaguares de Chiapas in July 2012.
That run of goalscoring form has seen him widely linked with a move to England, with Tottenham thought to be leading the chase for his signature.
But the player s representative, Luis Manso, has moved to quash those rumours.
Jackson Martinez has always said he wants to stay at FC Porto and he does not have to leave, he told Portugal s Radio Renascenca.
He is happy and his family too so I do not see the intention of the club to sell.
It seems strange that the English press push the issue, there really is just Porto. We have not spoken to anyone and we are not interested in any negotiations. That s the truth.
The 26-year-old forward has also scored eight goals in 18 international appearances since making his debut in 2009.
