Chelsea have entered discussions with Inter Milan over the possibility of signing Matias Vecino, according to .
Vecino only came to Inter from Fiorentina last summer. He played in 29 games and scored three goals for the Nerazzurri in 2017/18 in all competitions. He has previously worked with the newly appointed Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri in 2014/15 when he was on loan at Empoli.
Sarri is now keen on a reunion with the Uruguay international at Stamford Bridge, and in order for that to happen, the London Blues will have to part with the sum of around £32million.
Chelsea were in a potentially problematic situation regarding transfers while the saga of Antonio Conte s long-expected departure was ongoing, but since his arrival Sarri has managed to snatch Jorginho from under the very noses of Machester City, having worked with him at Napoli. He also signed 38-year-old Rob Green to be the third-choice goalkeeper.
As he looks to bolster the squad with Vecino, he also faces a struggle to keep goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois and forward Eden Hazard out of the clutches of Real Madrid.
