Casillas confident of Kaka stay

Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas is confident Kaka will not leave the La Liga leaders during the January transfer window.

The Brazil international has been struggling to secure regular starts under coach Jose Mourinho and has been linked with a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu, with cashed-up Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint-Germain said to be leading the chase for his signature.

But Real captain Casillas has dismissed reports that the former AC Milan attacker is heading for the exit door.

Kaka has told me that he is not leaving, he is going to stay here with us, Casillas revealed on his official Facebook page under a photo of the duo and reserve goalkeeper Tomas Mejias.

Kaka joined Real from Milan before the 2009/10 campaign for a then-world record fee of 56 million pounds, and has a contract at the club until June 2015.

After returning from long-term injury, the 2007 Ballon d Or winner has made 20 appearances for Real in all competitions this campaign, scoring four goals.
